Mission and Values

Our Mission:  Inspiring godly transformation and Christ like character through exceptional education intentional discipleship to impact the world for Christ.
We aspire to be a premier Christian high school in Oregon providing an exceptional college preparatory education, enabling students to matriculate to any school they desire for higher education, including leading universities throughout the country and the world.
Beyond providing an outstanding high school education, we affirm Romans 12:2, where we believe God can radically transform and change a person's life by the renewing of the mind through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Through relevant, biblically integrated classes and outstanding extracurricular activities, students are discipled and equipped for a life of service and stewardship.
Faculty, staff, coaches, and parents serve together in prayer and partnership, furthering authentic transformation (persistent, foundational change) in the minds and hearts of students.

Board Priorities

The Board of Directors of Westside Christian High School have the following strategic priorities:
We seek to inspire students with outstanding Bible curriculum and educators, so students develop a passion for Christ-centered life of service prior to college.
In addition to Bible classes, we value the integration of a biblical worldview in every classroom and extracurricular activity.
We desire to see our students well prepared for life beyond high school.  Therefore, we view Westside as a “launching pad” for a life of service not merely a “Christian bubble” to shelter them from the world.
Research shows many children from Christian families drift from their faith post high school. Our goal is to combat this trend so that every student grows in his/her faith throughout high school, college, and into adulthood.  To that end we intend to stay connected with our graduates to evaluate ourselves and find ways to sharpen our effectiveness.
We have a medium-term enrollment goal of 75 students per class and a long-term goal of 100 per class.
We are committed to providing a safe environment, psychologically physically and socially.
